With regard to the geological formation is part of the country young land of America. This means to say that until the early Tertiary, Costa Rica and Panama were occupied by a large marine channel that connected the Pacific to the Caribbean Current, which constituted the whole rather a form of massive continental archipelago before. It has been argued that current Nicoya and Osa peninsulas are remnants of these first-born islands. Since the mid-Tertiary volcanic strong movements allowed the Teutonic and total lifting of the country and the emergence, over the area of the fracture known as the Nicaragua Depression, current Cordillera de Guanacaste and Central. However, it was in the Quaternary when I finish consolidating the Costa Rican territory and set the stage for the location of the first aborigines who settled in our territory. This small country is big on activities since the visitor can find the sun, beach, adventure, nature into culture, all in one place.
